Tickets are available on the Salt & Smoke & Sound website.

No alcohol may NOT be brought into the park. Beer, hard ciders, and other beverages will be sold at the festival.

Food will be sold on-site and outside food is not allowed to be brought into the park.

Coolers are not allowed at the festival unless needed for breast milk or medication and will be checked for alcohol and outside food which are prohibited.

Weapons and drugs of any kind.

The primary paid parking is located off New Hope Church Rd (entrance opposite Strayhorn Lane).  

Overflow parking sites will be utilized as needed once primary parking is full. Free shuttle service will be provided. 

Vendors and other participants should follow the directions to Participant Parking provided in their email info packet, and enter at the Park Entrance off Highway 86

Yes,  bike parking is available along the split rail fencing in the circle drive at the main festival entrance off Highway 86.

Use “4215 NC-86, Chapel Hill, NC 27514” as your location.

No animals, other than trained assistance animals, are allowed on site during the Festival

There is ample parking available on site for vehicles displaying disabled placards.  The accessible parking area is connected via a fine gravel path to the Festival site.  The pathway is relatively level, and the gravel path allows access to the stage viewing area.

The Orange County visitor bureau maintains a great list of avaialble lodging options.

No camping is available at Blackwood Farm Park.

A festival map will be posted on this website for an overview once all participants are finalized.

At the Festival, stop by the Info Booth in the Big Barn with any questions!

Yes! Several vendors offer vegetarian and vegan offerings!

Yes, camp chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged. Umbrellas or other items that might block the view of other attendees are not allowed. Please be considerate of other attendees when setting up your chairs.

Lost and Found is located in the large barn, inside the Info Booth.

The Festival Information Booth is centrally located in the large Barn in the middle sof the Salt & Smoke & Sound site.

Salt & Smoke & Sound will be held rain or shine.
